I don't know if it helps, but I bought the Brmbo parking brake pads for my 2014 Model S from Biltema and the new pins & spring set from Thansen here in Norway.
Total cost for all the parts was NOK 500,- and a local mechanic did the job in a few hourse.
Tesla quoted me NOK 18,000 for the same job!

TOCN used to be great, but now it seems half the posts are useless spam about Dallas Cowboys, etc.
Why can't the moderators clean this mess up?

There was a class action case against Tesla in the US regarding the reduction of range after a software update :

Some older Model S cars will not charge past 90%.

May I also add that in Norway, if you insure your Tesla with IF they will cover your battery and motor for a few hundred kroner extra until the car reaches 200,000 km if you are worried about either component . . . .

I don't know if this will help, but I had exactly the same problem with my Model S.
Took it to Tesla Porsgrunn who said the fault was caused by a defect rear camera.
This was changed out and the problem has not appeared (plus the picture is much better now when reversing!)

Just a heads up, had my Model S P85 3G modem upgraded to the 4G LTE model for a total cost of Kr.2400 at Tesla Porsgrunn. No more dropouts when using TuneIn or Spotify plus it no longer keeps going offline when using the app.
Well worth the money!

To complete an accurate battery test you need the diagnostic dongle, laptop and Tesla ToolBox 2 software.
I just had my Model S battery test done at Tesla Porsgrunn for the price of Kr.825,-

FYI just got my 2014 Model S 85 back from the workshop after the LTE 4G modem upgrade.
The invoice came to Kr.1720 + Mva.

I'll let you know the situation in a few weeks as my Model S is due for the 4G upgrade in October.
UPDATE -  I just got confirmation that I have to pay NOK 2,150,- inkl Mva for the upgrade & installation.
