Tittel: lag between Model 3 shipments?
Skrevet av: ruben08.05.2019, 18:02:00
"Since I couldn't take delivery at the beginning of April, my delivery was postponed to (an estimate of) end of May. Any idea why such a big lag (almost 2 months) between delivery chunks?
Are shipments from US to Norway not as often as reported by focus-wtv.be? "

I think the problem is that you end up all the way back in the queue when you make changes or postpone delivery. The car that was destined for you is re-allocated to someone else, and you get moved down to the bottom of the pile again.

Being in the same situation as you, also expecting delivery last half of May, I find it quite frustrating that there's no information on status, or more accurate ETAs as we're moving closer to the deadline.

Guess you will have to wait for next delivery from the US.
Morning Cornelia just delivered a load of Teslas in Zeebrugge as the first ship for Europe this quarter.
NOCC Oceanic will be in Zeebrugge on the 21.st, and the third ship will be on its way from San Fransisco in a day or two.
It takes 25 days from SF to ZEE.
From there, smaller ships will bring the cars to Drammen, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund and Trondheim, or the lage ships will continue towards Oslo.
The large ships last quarter delivered a huge load of cars in Oslo port directly after unloading some in Zeebrugge.
Morning Cornelia is on its way somewhere else already, so we will have to see what will come by smaller ships or when NOCC Oceanic hits Europe.
